Claire received her MFA in Creative Writing from Florida International University. Her fiction, poetry, and creative nonfiction have appeared in numerous anthologies and literary journals.  Claire’s novel Fragile Saints has been published in early 2021 by Adelaide Books. Fragile Saints is a magical realist novel set in contemporary Peru. Elsa learns she has inherited a country house, near the old family hacienda, which is haunted by a dark secret. A family saga unfolds, where ancestral mishaps and the natural world help Elsa on her journey in discovering her purpose.

Claire is also a visual artist, and her images have been exhibited at the PhotoPlace Gallery, Circle Foundation for the Arts, Las Laguna Gallery, and galleries throughout Colorado. She is now a member artist at D’art Gallery in Denver’s Santa Fe Art District.
